Yes, the measuring cell and the analog outputs as well as the voltage supply and the switching outputs are electrically isolated.
CIP is a concept, in which the cleaning and disinfection dissolution
circulates in the circuit without dismantling the system to be treated.
This is called a circulation, circuit or recirculation cleaning process
that is mainly controlled automatically by programs.
The CIP cleaning concept can be used in systems where circuits can be
established, e.g. in tank systems, process lines for the drinking milk
production, the butter production, the cheese production, the dried milk
production or beverage industry (e.g. in breweries).
The task of the conductivity measuring technology is to control the
concentration of the cleaning and disinfection solutions in the supply
containers and at decisive points during the process. The concentration
in the lye and acid container must kept constant by intensification with
concentrated lye or acid. The conductivity of the hot water must be
controlled because this is the fluid that comes into contact with the
product.
The desalination function is an automatic process, during which the
reference value is reduced by opening a desalination valve after the set
limit value is exceeded.
The water supply that is now started (level control) dilutes the water in the circuit and, thus, reduces its conductivity.
In cooling towers, for example, biocides are added to the cooling water
to prevent the growth of biological substances in the cooling systems.
The desalination lock is started after the dosing time to ensure that
the biocide does not enter the sewage system.
The customer-specific concentration can be used to convert a reference
value to a concentration value by means of a table. Max. 20 support
digits can be used for this. The curve can only be programmed with the
setup program.
The customer-specific configuration is activated in the analog input conductivity parameter.
Ensure that the 19-digit F No. on the transmitter rating plate complies with the 19-digit F No. on the measuring cell cable end.
If the numbers do not coincide, calibrate the transmitter and the
measuring cell using the calibration set (sales article number
20/00459436) (see point 3 in the FAQs).
For the head transmitter:
Repair is only possible in the factory.
With separate cell:
The measuring probe can be replaced. After replacement, calibrate the probe using the calibration set (sales article number 20/00459436) (see point 3 in the FAQs).
Calibration of the measuring cell is only required after the measuring cell or the transmitter has been replaced.
For the procedure, please refer to the calibration instructions.
The language can be changed with the setup program or directly on the device.
From the device software 196.02.01, eight device languages are provided: German, English, Spanish, French, Polish, Swedish, Italian and Portuguese.
Older devices cannot be updated to all current languages.
